Set bonuses
Your armor can benefit from a matching set and a shared upgrade bonus at the same time.
Matching pieces
Named sets grant effects when you equip the required number of matching pieces. Check the item's set information before replacing a piece: losing a required piece can remove a bonus.
Shared upgrade bonus
The game uses the lowest upgrade level among your helmet, suit, gauntlets and boots.
| Lowest +N | Accuracy | Block | Max HP | Attack | All stats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| +0 to +2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| +3 | +5 | +3 | +3% | +3% | +2 |
| +4 or +5 | +10 | +5 | +5% | +5% | +4 |
| +6 or +7 | +20 | +10 | +10% | +10% | +6 |
| +8 or +9 | +35 | +15 | +15% | +15% | +8 |
| +10 | +50 | +20 | +20% | +20% | +10 |
For example, armor at +8 / +8 / +8 / +3 receives the +3 shared bonus. Raising the +3 piece to +4 raises that bonus; upgrading another +8 piece does not.
Individual pieces still receive their own upgrade benefits above the minimum. The shared bonus does not replace a piece's own defense.
Read upgrading before taking armor above the safe early levels, and armor and sets when deciding what to keep.
Finding higher-level armor
The configured drops include level-105 armor in Shaduwar and level-115–120 Forsaken Tower monsters. Level-120 armor appears in Valley of the Risen and less often among Aroxio TERA monsters; level-125 armor is rarer in Aroxio. These pools cover the jobs, genders and armor slots for their tiers. Aroxio's Lizard Guard retains its no-drop table. A configured pool does not guarantee a drop on a particular kill.
