Preparing buffs for combat

Buffs can improve your damage, survivability or leveling. Read their effect and duration instead of assuming every bonus lasts through a dungeon run.

Before fighting

1. Ask your support player for the class buffs your group needs.
2. Check the active buff icons and remaining durations.
3. Use the consumables intended for your build.
4. Check your HP and recovery supplies before pulling enemies.

Effects can replace or conflict with other effects. Do not assume that every buff or every version of a buff stacks.

Collection bonuses

Pet Dex awards passive milestone bonuses for collecting different species. These are separate from a temporary consumable buff.

The Weapon Stat Wheel also adds equipment-based bonuses as you reach its milestones.

During group content

Allow time to refresh buffs before the next encounter. In The Sigil Crown, the Warden can wake when a player moves into the chamber's inner area, so prepare before entering the center.
