Pets and Pet Dex
Pickup pets gather drops. Raised stat pets are a separate system with pet levels and stat bonuses. Collecting a baby pickup pet does not hatch or level a raised pet.
Collect a monster pet
Open Pet Dex from the in-game menu. Hunt monsters represented in the collection. Eligible kills can award a normal or shiny baby pet directly to your Dex.
| Drop roll | Configured chance per eligible kill |
|---|---|
| Normal pet from an ordinary monster | 1 in 4,000 |
| Normal pet from a boss-classified monster | 1 in 1,000 |
| Shiny pet | 1 in 60,000 |
These are random rolls, not guaranteed kill targets. The kill counter measures your hunting; kills alone do not unlock a collected badge. In group combat, credit follows the monster's loot-rights owner.
Withdraw or store a pet
Each card has 5 storage slots.
- Click an occupied slot to withdraw that pet into your bag.
- Drag a compatible pet from your inventory onto its matching card to store it.
- A full card cannot accept another deposit.
- A shiny pet keeps its shiny variant when withdrawn or deposited.
Rare drops go into the Dex rather than appearing as a pet item on the ground. Check the collection after the drop message. If storage is full, collection ownership can still be recorded, but another withdrawable copy is not stored.
Collection bonuses
Different collected species count toward milestones. Examples: 5 grants +5 Attack, 10 grants +150 Max HP, and 25 grants +5% Attack. Later milestones continue to add benefits.
Withdrawing a pet does not erase the collected badge.
Raised stat pets
Keep your raised stat pet active to gain pet EXP from monster kills. This build supports automatic hatching and pet advancement. Check the pet window for its level and current stat bonus; this is separate from Pet Dex storage and collection progress.
